Frozen Dreams

Things don't always turn out the way we wanted. They don't always turn out the way we expected. Life often doesn't turn out the way we hoped. Dreams go dormant. Or lie at our feet shattered as if a crystal vase was dropped on concrete.

What are you & I to do when this happens?

Open your hands and let go...

WHAT?! That's it?!

Our lesson is to learn that God alone is enough.

Sometimes it can take a lifetime for that truth to work it's way from our head down to our heart; Every now & then our dream is resurrected; every now & then God gives us a new dream, & every now & then we don't see what was promised to come our way before we go home...

Hebrews 12:28-29
Do you see what we've got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander. He's actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won't quit until it's all cleansed. God himself is Fire!

Psalm 138:8
Finish what you started in me, God. Your love is eternal—don't quit on me now.
