Yes, there is a new word called, 'sofalizing' - being social using the internet while sitting on your couch.It's not really hospitality, and you're not really 'connected', and while the proverbial 'lights are on' no one is really at home, in the sense of inhabiting the neighbourhood with the fullness of your presence and not being distracted.
No matter how plugged-in we get, I can’t hug my laptop. Lets just get on with being church in our own neighbourhoods. Becky Garrison
