So many of us are old before our time...

In fact, I have come to believe that "oldness" is not a matter of age at all. It's a condition of the mind. I know some young adults who have geriatric attitudes while still in their middle twenties. And I know people in their forties who have stopped enjoying life and are not growing intellectually or spiritually. Some of my friends who are in their fifties act grim and tray. On the other hand, I know some chronologically older people who have a youthful vibrancy about them. They may be in the winter season by age, but they have never lost the spring of enthusiasm in their hearts. LOgilvie
