listen deeply...

When you listen to people,
they feel figured out
and will do business with you
if your price is competitive
and until your service is outsourced
to where they can get it at a lower price.

When you deeply listen to people,
they feel understood,
feel cared about,
and they’ll lower their guard,
be grateful and won’t outsource you…
unless they discover your caring is just a tactic
as opposed to a deeply held value. Warren Bennis
